Growing up with a hardworking longshoreman mother and a father who eventually built his own business, Beijah often changed schools and neighborhoods while building her internal resilience. Inspired by her late brother and driven by a desire to inspire her family and community, she transitioned from warehouse jobs to becoming a business owner. Ultimately, her goal is to retire her mother, who has been the family’s cornerstone, and inspire her siblings to achieve their dreams.
